Teaching Philosophy

 

     Our pedagogy influences what we teach and how our students learn. By having a clear goal of who I want to be as a teacher while still staying flexible, I will be better prepared for handling my future class. Acknowledging and adapting to each class’ differing needs will allow me to make the classroom a better learning space for each class I encounter throughout the day. By understanding the struggles that come with being an art educator before I step into a classroom, I can better prepare myself when I do have to face those challenges.

   

I aim to be an art educator that enables students to utilize art and the interdisciplinary skills it teaches to better tackle the roads ahead of them.
